The Coffee’s Story
This coffee is grown by Maya Mam farmers, members of the Asociación de Productores Agrícolas Comunidades Unidas (ACIPACU) located in the community of El Naranjo, San Marcos Province, close to the Tajamulco volcano.
ACIPACU was established in 2010 with the goal of improving the quality and yield of their coffee production and seeking markets for their organic coffee. ACIPACU members (57) represent the ethnic group Mam from the San Marcos municipality of Tajumulco.
Tasting Notes:
Medium acidity and smooth medium-full body.
Sweet, complex, toasted walnuts, cedar, chocolate, stone fruit (cherries), slight citrus
Processing:
Washed and Sun Dried on patios
